Daniel Ingram möchte wissen welcher seiner Songs von 2011 wohl am Emmy würdigsten ist!
Daniel Ingram is submitting a few of his best pony songs for an Emmy nomination, and is asking the community for assistance. Currently the following five songs are eligible:
Art of the Dress
Hush Now Lullaby
At The Gala
May the Best Pet Win
Becoming Popular
He explains it the best, so have his copy paste:
"Hey Everyone!! This year the Emmy's they are asking for an "Optional informational essay, up to 200 words, explaining why you believe the entry is Emmy-worthy. The summary, which will be included on the ballot as an accompaniment to the viewing material, may comprise a technical description as a guide to judges, along with any challenges that were met in the submission episode or Special." Many of you are great writers, so pick your fave song from 2011 and email me your 200 word essay of why you think it's Emmy worthy. Send to daniel@danielingrammusic.com"
Winter Wrap Up ist leider nicht dabei da der Song von 2010 ist.

Und uh, das ist schwer. At the Gala und Art of the Dress sind beide großartig. Ich persönlich stimme für Art of the Dress, aber das liegt daran dass ich den Song generell sehr stark und ansprechend finde. Was denkt ihr?

Das http kahm nicht von mir irgendwie klappt das ganze gerade nicht aber wenn mann den link auf der Equestriadaily Seite öffnet klappts.
Ich hab jetzt May the best pet win und Becoming popular gesendet ich konnte mich einfach nicht entscheiden.

Ich kann mich nicht zwischen "Art of the dress" und "May the best pet win" entscheiden. Vielleicht sende ich auch einfach mal beide.

Schwierig, schwierig...
Ich mag "Art of the Dress" und "At the Gala" am meisten, aber beide sind mehr oder weniger stark an andere Songs "angelehnt": "Putting it Together" und
"Ever After", beide von Stephen Sondheim. Besonders bei "At the Gala" fällt das schon ziemlich auf...Natürlich, Daniel Ingram hat jeweils was eigenes daraus gemacht, aber einige Sachen wurden fast 1:1 übernommen =/
Wenn man das nicht berücksichtigt, würde ich "At the Gala" bevorzugen, alleine schon wegen RDs Gesang. Aber für einen Essay über meine Wahl fehlt mir die Motivation...
Die anderen Songs sind zwar gut, aber nicht herausragend. Das CMC Theme vermisse ich allerdings bei der Auswahl. 80er Jahre Hair Metal Ponys? Was will man mehr?
