I am still mad! I just came back from the post office, picking up the package, so please EXCUSE ME when i may overreact! I usually stay out of Reddit! I am more of a reader, who keeps himself groundet. I also do not participate in shitstorms, or raging over some company, but what happened today is just the biggest garbage i have EVER had and i did have my fair share of BS when it comes to (Hardware-)Support. Seriously! I am part of this since 10 years now, i have been through a lot of manufacturers. Some good, MOST of them garbage, but Gigabyte just took the cake. I am mad, i am REALLY mad!

===HERE IS WHERE THE INTERESTING BIT IS!===
So a bit of backstory: Back in July of 2016 i bought a Gigabyte GTX1080 G1 Gaming. Which did cost me roughly 770 EURO (I'm from germany!). That is ~840 USD, so quite a shitload of money! Some people buy a PC for that money.
About 3 Weeks ago, my PC started crashing randomly! So i did the usual "analyze the problem thing", like re-installing Windows, Drivers, checking the hardware in different Systems and so on. One could say, that i did basically Gigabyte's job. I went all out on that issue. Asked forums, I even got some spare parts from friends to build a third PC (I already had the parts for a 2nd one!). I could go in more detail, about what i did, but tl;dr:
After a whole weekend of trying different things, CPUs, RAM, PSUs even GPUs, it al came down to the GPU!
Which is really sad for Gigabyte, because the GPU did not even last one year! Since we have a 1 year warranty, i did sent the GPU in and asked them to fix it!
I just got the package and i could already read the "No error found!"-message on the delivery note, that was stuck to the outside! I opened the package like 10 minutes ago and was stunned...
Those [CENSORED CURSES] did not even open up the package!
I am NOT kidding, because the outside tape was mine! How do i know that? Well intelligent me wrote with a permanent marker on said tape (As i said, i KNOW those companies!).
So yeah... I got the package back, with the note, that they did not find any issue with my hardware, but they did not even TRY!
THAT is the biggest bullsh*** i have EVER seen with any manufacturer! I cannot believe, that actually happened!

BAM! Opening this up, without cutting the tape, OR ruining the black cardboard box is nearly impossible! I will send it back again and i swear, if you pull this one again, i will dismantle your f-ing headquarters, until i get my money back!!!

And to everyone else: Don't make the same mistake i did! Buy someone with class like EVGA (I wanted one of theirs, but i NEEDED a GPU quick, and their 1080s weren't available!)!
