Weil es die einzige mir bekannte Sci-Fi-Serie mit wissenschaftlich logischem Hintergrund und trotzdem nicht langweiliger Handlung ist. Außerdem Hat Whoopie Goldberg in Star Trek: The next Generation eine der Hauptrollen übernommen.
Ganz zu schweigen von historischen Momenten wie dem ersten im Fernsehen übertragenen Kuss zwischen einem weißen Mann und einer Schwarzen Frau überhaupt. Zudem sind die Star Trek-Filme spannend, ohne zu ernst oder dramatisch zu sein.
