Ein Achtung an alle die in Steam gern tauschen, derzeit geht wohl verstärkt eine bestimmte Scammermethode um

Du bekommst eine Freundesanfrage bzw. Chatnachricht und der Absender sagt, ein Freund von ihm möchte mit dir tauschen, kann dich aber nicht adden oder der Absender sagt er kann dich nicht von seinem Hauptaccount aus anschreiben.
Daher schickt er dir einen Link zu einem Steamprofil, wo du dich zunächst mit deinen Steamaccountdaten einloggen musst. Diese Links führen natürlich zu Phishing-Webseiten, die eure Daten ausspähen und euch dort dann die Accounts leer räumen.

Personen, die euch das schicken an Steam melden und blocken!

Die Methode gibt es schon sehr viel länger, in letzter Zeit sind es nur verdammt viele geworden. Scheint vor allem Leute, die mit TF2 Gegenständen handeln zu betreffen (kann natürlich auch andere treffen).
Diese Seiten wollen, dass man zur Authentifizierung eine gewisse Datei vom Computer hochlädt. Durch diese bekommen sie einige wichtige Daten über den Account, sodass sie Steamguard austricksen können.

Der link ist eher Simple zu erkennen da dort statt community, Comrrunity steht. So war es auch bei mir.
Ausserdem lohnt es sich das addon von http://www.mywot.com installiert zu haben.
Desweiteren entfehle Ich Bitdefender Trafficlight. http://trafficlight.bitdefender.com
Weil Dann erkennt ihr solche Seiten.

Also ich kann dazu nur eins sagen Steam Beta ist ein bisle Buggy.
1.Die Download zeiten sind manchmal ei bischen Hoch aber es ist verkraftbar.
2.Die Festplatte wird manchmal als komplett Voll bezeichnet obwoll man 200 bis 500GB frei hat. (Kurtz gesagt Festplatte ist ausgelastet).
Es gibt auch natürlich noch Vorteile.
1.Viele Updates die man sich schön vor dem echten Release durch lesen kann und sie natürlich dann auch noch zuerst bewerten kann und steam dann berichten kann.
2.Mann hat ein ganz neues Download fenster das man auch wenn es komisch klingt besser als das normale benützen kann.
Also das wars fürs erste mal wenn wieder ein neues Update kommt kann ich es ja mal hier rein posten.

If you are already affected by the Mac bug (you receive an error popup about case-sensitive filesystems), please trash the Steam application and re-download it from the Steam website. You do not need to delete any other related files. As long as you choose to keep related files, you will not need to re-download any games.

Fixed a bug that could cause the Steam Updater to complain incorrectly about case-sensitive filesystems on the Mac, blocking future updates.
Fixed a bug that could, in very rare conditions, cause Steam to remove other unrelated files while uninstalling The Witcher: Enhanced Edition.

Ich glaube einige meinen Tripwire Interactive anstatt Valve.
Valve hat das Spiel nicht Entwickelt und damit nicht viel damit zu tun.
